Tool for creating patterns, gradients and similar graphics
PatterNodes is a complex, but simple to use tool, for creating repetitive graphics, such as patterns, gradients and illustrations. In addition, it can be also used for creating animations, such as loading bars and similar, with ease. It also includes a preview panel, where end results can be seen in real time as the changes are being made.
Different output graphics can be created by using floating panels also called nodes, which are pasted on the working area and can be connected together in many ways, depending on the desired outcome. There are different nodes for creating different types of patterns, such as nodes for creating lines, shapes, text and even to import images, and every node contains sliders and other elements for setting different parameters of the particular node.
In addition, there are also nodes for creating different kinds of transformations, changing repetition styles, create randomizations, color adjustments, animations, and even nodes that act as functions, to name a few. Many included nodes have functionalities, which can make pattern creation process even easier, by automatically filling edge elements, or randomizing different parameters, like color and position, to make the end result look even better.
At the end, resulting pattern images can be copied to clipboard, or exported to vector or raster images, in formats such as eps, pdf, jpg, png and tiff, and formats such as mov and gif for animations. For quicker start and to get some ideas, PatterNodes comes with a lot of samples, including animations, gradients, illustrations, patterns and other tutorial files.
